Vehicles visible in the pre-invasion imagery include T-72B3 MBTs in convoy formation, BMP-2 IFVs in assembly areas, MSTA-S 152mm self-propelled howitzers, logistics trucks, and command vehicles distributed across Pogonovo's staging areas. The Voronezh training ground was one of multiple Russian military locations documented in the extraordinary pre-invasion OSINT effort that provided advance warning of the February 24, 2022 invasion — establishing it as a key monitoring node in the Ukrainian frontier intelligence architecture.
